AHMADIYYAT

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community believes that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835–1908) of Qadian is the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, whose advent was foretold by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), who is the Holy Prophet of Islam. Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (peace be upon him) claimed to be the metaphorical second coming of Jesus, sent to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed, and revive Islam’s true message of peace and righteousness.
​He taught that all major religious founders — including Jesus, Moses, Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster, and Guru Nanak — were true prophets of God. He showed how their original teachings reflect the same core truth and ultimately lead to the message of Islam.
After his passing in 1908, the system of Khilafat (spiritual leadership) was divinely established to continue his mission.
